Kelly FitzPatrick

Kelly is currently a research analyst with the Intergenerational Health Group at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. The focus of her research is women's experiences of family violence. Kelly is a named CRE scholar, and a co-lead of priority area 1 - impact of intergenerational trauma. She also has a long standing affiliation with the Safer Families CRE.

Kelly hopes the CRE will achieve collaborative generation of knowledge to improve the health, wellbeing and resilience of all families who may experience social and health inequalities.

Kelly brings a desire to understand and address sources of inequality experienced by families at a structural, community and relational level.

Kelly lives and works on Wurrundjeri Country.

Music and cooking, especially with the addition of friends and family, keeps Kelly strong and resilient.
